Samba

Description

Samba is a meld-making card game in the same genre as Canasta or Hand and Foot. Samba is played with multiple decks — usually two, though sometimes three — plus jokers. All who like to play cards and want to learn a new game are welcome.

MEETING DAY/TIME

At Stonecrest, we have two different groups that play Samba, as follows:

• The Tuesday group meets from 12:15 to 4:00 p.m.
• The Thursday group meets from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday Group:
Initial membership fee is $10
$5 per member as needed for supplies

Thursday Group:
No fee
