Quilters & Needlers

Description

Quilters & Needlers is a group of quilters, seamstresses, knitters and crocheters who make afgans, quilts, clothes, stuffed animals, tote bags, laundry bags, taggies (for tactional stimulation), Christmas stockings, and whatever our imagination can create. If a member needs help with a knitting, crochet, or quilting project, someone in the group will usually be able to offer suggestions or assistance. The items we make go to Kids Central Inc., which is an organization that assists in the placement of neglected, abused or abandoned children ranging in age from newborns to 21. We have been affiliated with this organization since 2007.

Our casual Wednesday get-togethers are held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Arts & Crafts Room and are spent making collaborative quilts, having show and tell, or just sharing information about any of a myriad of subjects.
