Stonecrest Community Garage Sales are held twice a year — the third weekend in April and October — and are open to the general public.
A private sale is held the day before the public sale so residents can browse their neighbors' trinkets and treasures.
Community Garage Sales are advertised in The Villages newspaper, and special signage is posted at both entrances to attract even more shoppers.
In addition, pre-printed community street maps are distributed at entry gates showing the locations of all participating homes.
